Heavy and hard, just way the Black Oak Arkansas, Pat Travers Band, Ozzy Osbourne, Gary Moore, Whitesnake, Ted Nugent, Thin Lizzy and more like it, and the way drummer Tommy Aldridge plays it. Since the 1970’s Aldridge has worked with a who’s-who of these hardest rocking acts in the business plus Vinnie Moore, Motörhead, Manic Eden, MARS and more.  Influenced by jazz greats such as Louis Bellson and Sam Woodyard, he began experimenting with double bass drums and became an early practitioner of double bass drumming in rock leading to the production of his instructional video "Rock Drum Soloing and Double Bass Workout".  

 

In demand, not only as a player but as a popular clinician, the self-taught Aldridge rounds out his busy performance schedule each year with clinics and festivals.  He remains very active on the music scene and in recent years has rejoined and continues to perform with Whitesnake.
